Top questions
Questions buyers ask before ordering
Covers customization scope, overseas execution, export compliance, lead times and quotation logic.
Do you offer custom hotel furniture and FF&E manufacturing for overseas projects?
Yes. YABO manufactures custom hotel furniture and FF&E for overseas projects, including guestroom casegoods, wardrobes, vanities, headboards, lobby millwork, restaurant furniture and loose seating. We work from your drawings or develop shop drawings from layouts, then confirm materials, dimensions, hardware and finishes through samples or a 1:1 mock-up before bulk production.
How do you ensure successful execution and installation of overseas projects?
We treat overseas execution as a project workflow, not only a shipment. Before production we align shop drawings, room numbers, packing marks and installation sequence. Before shipment we prepare export packing, container loading plans, commercial invoice, packing list and spare parts. During installation we support remote guidance or on-site coordination depending on project size and location.
As a direct-from-factory supplier, do you offer competitive pricing?
Factory-direct pricing helps, but the lowest unit price is not always the lowest project cost. We quote by drawings, BOQ, room count, materials, packing volume and destination. This lets owners compare cost per key, MOQ, freight and installation risk instead of comparing incomplete catalogue prices.
Do your products meet requirements for international export?
We can supply moisture-resistant substrates, fire-rated upholstery options, low-VOC finishes, anti-rust hardware and export-grade packing. Required documents depend on the destination and operator standard, so we confirm fire tests, material declarations, packing list and other compliance items before the final quotation.
What is the typical lead time for order delivery?
Most projects take 35–60 days after shop drawings, samples, deposit and production schedule are confirmed. Large hotels, resorts and serviced apartment furniture packages are usually split into batches by floor, room type or site readiness so the first shipment supports the opening schedule.
General
What is EPC service?
EPC stands for Engineering, Procurement and Construction. For hotel furniture and FF&E projects, it means one accountable team coordinates shop drawings, material selection, custom manufacturing, export packing, container loading, shipping documents and installation support. The goal is to reduce gaps between design, factory production and site handover.
Which project types do you serve?
We serve hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, apart-hotels, villas, guestrooms, lobbies, restaurants, banquet halls, meeting rooms and public-area hospitality spaces. Typical scopes include case goods, wardrobes, vanities, loose furniture, millwork and selected fit-out support.
Do you work with hotel owners, designers or contractors?
All three. Owners usually need budget, schedule and risk control; designers need material samples, shop drawings and mock-up feedback; contractors need clear packing marks, delivery batches and installation coordination. We adjust the workflow according to who owns the project decision.
What is hotel EPC?
For hospitality projects, hotel EPC means one accountable team delivers design coordination, 1:1 mock-ups for quotation approval, FF&E manufacturing, site fit-out/construction, export logistics and handover — scope defined by your BOQ and contract.
What is included in a hotel & resort EPC turnkey solution?
Per project contract and BOQ: design coordination, 1:1 mock-up approval, FF&E supply, interior fit-out (finishes, MEP and fire protection), site construction/installation, logistics and handover. YABO serves hotel, resort and apart-hotel projects in Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Customization & Service
Do you provide hotel interior design?
Yes. We can support layout review, furniture shop drawings, material boards, finish schedules and construction detail suggestions based on the hotel grade, operator standard and budget. If the owner already has a designer, we coordinate with the design package and convert it into factory-ready drawings and approval samples.
Can you customize furniture according to our drawings?
Yes. We can manufacture by your drawings or develop shop drawings from your layout and reference photos. Size, veneer, HPL, fabric, leather, metal finish, stone top, handles, hinges and drawer slides can be customized, but each change should be locked before mock-up approval to avoid production delays.
Can you provide free quotation for hotel furniture?
Yes. Please send room layouts, BOQ, reference photos, room count, hotel grade, delivery country and target opening date. A complete RFQ helps us quote cost per key, material options, packing volume and shipping assumptions instead of giving a vague catalogue price.
What materials can you use for hotel furniture?
Common materials include plywood, MDF, HPL, veneer, solid wood, metal, stone, glass, fabric and leather. For hotel projects we help choose materials by room type, climate, fire requirement, maintenance level and budget; fire-retardant, moisture-resistant and low-VOC options are available.
Can you meet fireproof and moisture-proof requirements?
Yes. We can recommend fire-rated boards, FR upholstery, moisture-resistant substrates, sealed edges, anti-rust hardware and suitable finishes based on local climate and project standards. Compliance should be confirmed early because changing fire-rated materials after mock-up approval can affect cost and lead time.
Can you match a hotel brand standard?
Yes. We can follow brand design manuals, material boards, prototype samples or approved mock-up room standards. For consistency, we recommend signing off finish codes, hardware models, fabric references and tolerance notes before bulk production starts.
Process & Mock-up
Do you make a hotel sample room before mass production?
For medium and large projects, we strongly recommend a sample room, mock-up room or key furniture samples before mass production. The approval record should cover dimensions, finishes, grain direction, hardware, power outlet positions, installation details and housekeeping workflow.
Can you help control hotel project budget?
Yes. We can compare material options, simplify construction details, optimize furniture structure, reduce unnecessary SKUs and plan staged delivery. This helps owners compare cost per key while keeping durability, maintenance and design effect within the project standard.
What information do you need to start a quotation?
Please provide floor plans, furniture list or BOQ, room quantity, target style, hotel grade, material requirements, delivery country, target opening date and any brand standards or reference photos. If drawings are not ready, send room types and reference images so we can prepare a budget range first.
Pricing & Payment
What is your MOQ for hotel furniture?
For project orders, MOQ usually starts from one model room package, one room type or one hotel floor, depending on material and hardware choices. Many overseas buyers begin with a sample room or 20-50 keys to confirm dimensions, finishes and packing before scaling to full production.
What are your payment terms?
Common terms are deposit before production and balance before shipment after inspection documents or photos are confirmed. For turnkey hotel EPC contracts, milestone payments can be discussed by design approval, material procurement, production, pre-shipment inspection, delivery and acceptance stages.
Do you offer warranty after delivery?
Yes. Warranty terms depend on product category and project scope. We normally support manufacturing issues, missing parts checks, installation coordination and spare parts planning. Common spare parts include handles, hinges, drawer slides, locks and touch-up materials.
Delivery & Installation
How long is the production lead time?
Most hotel furniture projects take 35-60 days after shop drawings, samples, deposit and production schedule are confirmed. Large hotels, resorts and serviced apartment furniture packages can be delivered in batches by room type, floor or opening sequence; ocean freight and customs time should be planned separately.
Do you ship hotel furniture to Africa and the Middle East?
Yes. We support hotel FF&E shipments to Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia with export packing, container loading plans, commercial invoice, packing list and delivery coordination. For markets such as Nigeria, Kenya, UAE or Saudi Arabia, we confirm port route, document requirements and site unloading conditions before shipment.
How do you protect furniture during overseas shipping?
We use export cartons, foam, corner protectors, moisture barriers, wooden frames when needed, clear room labels and container loading plans. Packing marks can follow room number, floor or zone so the site team can distribute goods faster and reduce missing-item risk.
Can you arrange installation overseas?
Depending on project size and location, we can provide installation drawings, remote video guidance, supervisor support or a technical team for on-site coordination. Before shipment, we align room labels, fixing points, tools, spare parts and installation sequence to reduce site rework.
Can you handle urgent hotel renovation projects?
For urgent renovation, we can prioritize drawing confirmation, material locking, batch production and staged shipment if project information is complete. The fastest path is to standardize finishes, reduce custom SKUs and ship by floor or zone so the hotel can reopen sections earlier.
