Shop Drawings & Mock-up Room Approval Checklist (Before Mass Production)
A concise checklist to approve dimensions, finishes, hardware, lighting reflection and housekeeping workflow.
Mock-up approval is where most projects are saved — or lost. The point is not to see a pretty room, but to lock measurable decisions.
Checklist
Dimensions: key heights, clearances, door swings, access panels.
Finishes: color, grain direction, sheen, batch consistency.
Hardware: hinges, drawer slides, handles, locks, serviceability.
Power: outlet/USB positions, cable routing, safety.
Installation: fixing points, leveling, wall conditions.
Conclusion: once mock-up notes are signed, production becomes repeatable. Without it, every room becomes a change order.
